Number 10's predictable response to proposed UK Lyme guidline changes.
By Administrator on 12/06/2009
Government response to the epetition states:
The Health Protection Agency (HPA) provides guidance for clinicians on the diagnosis and treatment of Lyme disease, and advice for the public on the prevention of tick bites, which is published on its website. That guidance is appropriate for the UK, and refers clinicians to further detailed guidance published by the Infectious Diseases Society of America, which provides current best practice guidance based on medical and scientific evidence.
